Breakwater Moon



Night shoot of the Santa Barbara Breakwater



And yes I did photoshop that moon in there. This photograph is for an industrial photo class I'm taking this session and one of the things I did was to shoot the moon with a 16" telescope and I have to use it in something so I combined it with another photo from the class.

what's the weird faint shadow right above the bench? looks like a person that got photoshoppped out of the picture...

how weird, i didn't even see that shadow when i first looked at it. it's a bit creepy! this is a really great shot, though [info]realitysandwich.

Well the exposure was about 20 minutes or so and someone sat down for about 5 minutes of it.

Hey...I came across your LJ via some random photography community. I love your images, but I love the fact that you talk about technique even more. So, I've added you. I just started taking photography classes (and actually took the plunge and opened a studio and blah blah blah spectacularly balsy/stupid) and am deeply, obsessively immersed in the art. Hope you don't mind the add. I should warn you...I'm not a traditionalist. lol. I take digital photographs and I photoshop every now and then. But, I'm also learning how to develop film...
